"There are no words to describe what the Women's Community Clinic means to me. There are no words to describe what the Women's Community Clinic means to this city. An excellent resource for women with no health insurance. I am now fully insured and consider the treatment I received at this clinic equal, and at times better, than what I now receive at my health care provider"- Clinic Client

The Women's Community Clinic is the only free clinic for women in San Francisco. The mission of the Clinic is to improve the health and well-being of all women. We provide free health care for uninsured and under-insured women by women in a safe, respectful environment. Our mission is anchored in two core beliefs: that preventive, educational care is essential to lifelong health and that all women deserve excellent care regardless of their ability to pay.

Our small staff and more than 100 active volunteers have provided over 19,000 appointments to more than 14,000 unduplicated clients since our inception. Currently, we provide approximately 5,000 Sexual and Reproductive Health appointments each year. In the last year, our Outreach Program has had over 3,000 encounters with more than 350 homeless and marginally-housed women.

All of our services are always free.
