The Colposcopy Health Educators provide one-on-one counseling to clients regarding their colposcopy appointment, abnormal pap smears and HPV. Additionally, Colposcopy Health Educators often provide assistance during the procedure. This important role involves supporting the clinician while helping to relieve a client’s anxiety.

Our Colposcopy Health Educator position requires a six-month commitment of two to three shifts per month.

Before becoming a Colposcopy Health Educator, our volunteers are required to complete 12 months of hands on training in our Health Worker Program.
