Sneak Peek
Friends of the Women’s Community Clinic gathered on April 23 for an exclusive sneak peek of our new home on Fillmore Street. The larger, better-equipped facility will allow the Clinic to triple the number of uninsured women it provides with much needed health care services.
Only days after the birth of his son, Supervisor Ross Mirkarimi spoke to an enthusiastic room of supporters about San Francisco’s urgent and growing demand for the Clinic’s services. The Clinic is currently raising funds for the new facility with plans to begin construction later this year, and a target grand opening in late 2010.
Couture designer Julia Panciroli honored Clinic volunteers with handmade flower pins to celebrate the occasion.
