On March 20, 2008, Carlina Hansen, Executive Director of the Women's Community Clinic, appeared on KQED-FM's "Forum" to discuss teenage girls and sexually transmitted infections.
A study released last week by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention finds that one in four teenage girls has a sexually transmitted infection. That statistic translates to over 3 million girls nationally.
