I am an epidemiologist working for the California Department of Public Health. When I am not at the Clinic I conduct surveillance and outbreak investigations for vaccine-preventable diseases. I started volunteering here shortly after I moved to the Bay Area and have felt so lucky to find such a warm, welcoming and diverse community of women at the Clinic. The Clinic helps to balance my office job in public health with my desire to work with patients in a medical setting and has fostered my interest in going to nursing school. Maybe someday I will be back here as a clinician!
