Maya Bartel

Having always entertained an interest in both health care and the arts, Maya came to the Clinic shortly after graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Art History. She began her career at the Clinic as a front desk worker, and is now a Health Educator. Maya thinks that the most rewarding part of this work is the sense of satisfaction she gets from knowing that she is providing women with the tools they need in order to continue caring for themselves and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The Clinic has given Maya an invaluable health care experience, and she hopes to continue her work here as an Outreach Worker. Maya loves working at the Clinic because she is able to participate in an amazing community of women who are devoted to providing other women with the health care services they need. When she’s not at the Clinic, Maya spends her time teaching preschool, running, baking, and reading, taking long walks and going to live theater. Maya will soon begin taking prerequisite science classes in the long path towards becoming a pediatrician.
